IFE Institution of Fire Engineers NZ
APC Techsafe are proud to be Gold Sponsors of the NZ chapter of the Institution of Fire Engineers.
The IFE was founded in 1918 and incorporated in New Zealand in 1924, with the following main objectives
- To promote, encourage and improve the science and practice of fire extinction, fire prevention and fire engineering, and all operations and expedients connected therewith.
- To give an impulse to ideas likely to be useful in connection with or in relation to such science and practice to the members of the Institution and to the community at large.
- IFE is at the heart of the fire community, promoting best practice and advancing the discipline for the benefit of society and supporting the professional development of members.
APC Techsafe also sponsor an award for "Outstanding Achievement" attained in IFE examination results, which is presented annually during the FPA/IFE conference dinner, with this years recipient being Jacob Greenlaw
